Weekly Quran Connect

Spiritual Quest:

Weekly Quran Connections

Join us for our weekly weekend Halaqas (short spiritual reflection) after the morning Fajr prayer as we delve into the ocean of Quranic knowledge.  Everyone is welcome to join and is encouraged to engage with the scholars, ask questions, and seek spiritual guidance.

The timing for the Fajr prayer can found on the Homepage.

The location will be at LIC permanent location, see Contact Us page.

Sunday Community Connection:

Each Sunday (Timing: TBD) we gather as a congregation to reflect on topics specifically chosen by our scholars and matters of interest to the Community. These sessions are suitable for seekers of all ages. A light snack will be provided.

Community Service Programs (CSP)

Loudoun Islamic Center (LIC) has established the Community Service Program (CSP) which is based on the principle that hunger and hardship do not discriminate between race, religion, or creed.  Our CSP initiatives include, but is not limited to:

  1. Providing free hot meals to the needy – Meal to Heal (M2H)
  2. Providing groceries and daily essentials for living with dignity
  3. Providing financial assistance for rent and utility bills
  4. Offering financial assistance to procure school supplies
  5. Using volunteer transportation to serve the community
Food Service

Food Drives:

LIC’s Meals-to-Heal (M2H) initiative under our overall CSP includes but is not limited to providing commercially sourced free hot meals to the needy at least once a month in Loudoun County. The frequency and schedule of the M2H distribution program are contingent upon donations and institutional assistance.

Please subscribe to our email distribution to be notified of future food distributions.

Living with Dignity:

If you find yourself in need of assistance to maintain a minimum standard of living, then please contact LIC. We will vet needy applicants case by case basis and can assist with groceries, rent, utility bills, school supplies, transportation needs amongst other things.  LIC will conduct the assistance process while maintaining the total privacy and anonymity of the needy as feasible.

Please send an email describing your situation and need to info@loudounislamiccenter.org

Other assistance available as needed.
